Rebearths: Conversations with a World Ensouled

By Craig Chalquist

With the publication of Terrapsychology: Reengaging the Soul of Place (Spring Journal Books, 2007), the study of our deep relations with the presence of places, landscapes, creatures, and things began to organize transdisciplinary exploration. With Rebearths, 30 new explorations draw on the languages of naturalism, anecdote, research, reflection, and poetry to attune the reader to the liveliness of conversations unfolding all the time between human beings and the sentient world in which we evolved.

Written in an engaging and accessible style, this introduction to a new research methodology will be of great interest to students and scholars of environmental psychology, ecotherapy, and environment and sustainability studies more generally.
